    This manual should be considered an integral part of the machine and should accompany it until its demolition. In the event of its loss or damage it will be necessary to request a substitute copy from the OMARV. The technical information contained in this manual is property of the OMARV. and should be considered copyright.

  • Page 6 The machine has been designed and tested in accordance with the “essential safety and health risks” mentioned in Annex I of the European Directive 98/37 EC. The standards used as reference for the design, construction and testing of the machine are listed in the technical dossier filed in OMARV. Noise level Noise surveys have been 95db.
  • Page 7 The warnings in this publication and on the product are however, not exhaustive. If it should happen that tools, procedu- res, work practices or technical workers nor explicitly recommended by the OMARV it will be necessary to ensure that there are no danger for oneself or others.

    • The manual should always be at hand so that it may be consulted to check the correct operative cycle every time a doubt may arise. • If this manual is lost or damaged, you will need to ask OMARV for a replacement copy. • Structural damage, improper modifications, alterations or repairs can change the capacity of production of the machine, the- reby cancelling this certification.
  • Page 9 Checks to be carried out on the tractor • Ensure that the drive shaft is fitted correctly both on the power drive of the tractor and on the universal shaft of the machine. • Check that the universal shaft is exposed for at last 1/3 third of the thread in its most extended position. •...
  • Page 10 Ensure that all security messages are legible. Clean them using soap and a cloth. Do not use solvents, diesel oil or petrol. Replace damaged stickers by asking for them from the OMARV If a stickers happens to be on a part that is to be replaced, make sure that another one is applied onto the replacement.”...
  • Page 11 In case the machine must be moved at the place in which it has been positioned in origin it will be needed to contact the technicians of the Omarv to have all that indispensable information to be able to carry the following move operations out in conditions of certainty.

    “Warning! Before proceeding to the positioning of the machine it is necessary to do an attentive preventive visual verification in order to individualise possible damages undergone during the phases of transport.” In the case in which one or more components were turning out to be victims it is indispensable not to proceed further with the installation and to indicate to the firm builder the found anomaly, when there were agreeing with the same one the actions to be made.
  • Page 13 • When the cardan shaft is disconnected from the power take-off of the tractor it must always • be supported on the appropriate support. Omarv is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation and use of the transmission gimbal.
  • Page 14 Checks to be performed before commissioning “Warning! It is forbidden to use the machine to personnel who are not authorized and not trained. Operators carrying out permitted activities on the machine must receive appropriate instructions regarding the use of personal protective equip- ment such as shoes, gloves, etc.
  • Page 15 The manual must always be within reach so that it can be consulted to check the operating cycle. If lost or damaged, the replacement copy must be requested from Omarv Srl. Never work with this machine if you are tired, sick or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medicines.
  • Page 16 • MAINTENANCE SECTION General rules It’s imperative to execute every maintenance operation with the machine completely still, even when undoing any elemento f the hydraulic circuit. “Warning! Before any intervention is made, the maintenance person must take the key out of the ignition, after having censure that the motor is stopped, and disconnect the drive shaft coupling from the power drive of the tractor.
  • Page 17 After completing this operation refit the protective casing blocking the two levers with the correct security screws.” Lubrification of the OMARV gear box Check the oil level every 50 hours by means of the proper dip stick. Replace the oil after the first 150 hours of work and subsequently every 1000 hours of work.
