EuroHEK functions in many systems as a part of a larger separator complex preceding an oil separator unit. See separate instructions for the operation, installation and maintenance of the SandSET 101 sludge alarm, which is included as a standard in EuroHEK sand and sludge traps. -

Compact the sand layer around the sand and sludge trap with extreme care. Keep compacting the sand bed around the sand and sludge trap in 20 cm layers. While this work is being done, keep adding water to the tank to keep it steady.

3. The EuroHEK sand and sludge trap should be completely emptied at least every second year. When doing this, clean the dirt from the walls with tap water or by high pressure washing.
