2.13 M.2 SSD Module Installation Guide (M2_1)
The M.2 is a small size and versatile card edge connector that aims to replace mPCIe and
mSATA. The Blazing M.2 Socket (M2_1, Key M) supports type 2280 PCIe Gen5x4 (128
Gb/s) mode.
This motherboard comes with ASRock Blazing M.2 Gen5 Fan Heatsink (pre-installed
on M2_1 socket), which is a M.2 SSD heatsink with fan that enables PCIe Gen5 SSD to
achieve optimal heat dissipation.
