Cleaning the Cutting Head
NOTE: The cutting head will remain attached to the unit.
1. Remove the old line from the cutting head. The line glide plate
cannot be removed if there is still line in the cutting head.
2. Locate the small hole in the side of the cutting head that holds the
black locking tab (Fig. 16). Insert a small Phillips screwdriver and
push the locking tab inward. At the same time, pull the line glide
plate out of the cutting head.
3. Use a clean cloth to clean the insides of the cutting head and
line glide plate.
4. Align the arrow on the line glide plate with the "A" mark on the
cutting head (Fig. 16).
5. Push the line glide plate into the cutting head until the locking
tab snaps into place.
