Insert toggle clamps packed separately with the mower into the holes for the selected height. See Fig. 3-4. Slide the cord retainer (if packed separately) onto the right hand side of the upper handle with the motor/blade Tighten the clamps.

Operation Starting Motor Press the (orange) starter button and hold it in. See Fig. 5-2. NOTE: Starting the mower’s motor also engages the blade. WARNING: Avoid accidental starting. Make sure you are in the operating position behind the mower when using it. To avoid serious injury, the operator and unit should be in a stable position while starting. - Page 14 Using Your Lawn Mower Be sure that lawn is clear of stones, sticks, wires, or other objects which could damage the lawn mower or motor. Such objects could be accidentally thrown by the mower in any direction and cause serious personal injury to the operator and others.
