Wi-Fi Setup for Remote Monitoring
Setup Requires
• Display and AcuRite Iris
• 2.4 GHz Wireless Network
• Phone, Tablet, or Computer with Wi-Fi
Before You Begin
• Pair the display with the outdoor sensor and mount the sensor outside. Confirm the display
is receiving current data.
• Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz network. The display is equipped with a
Wi-Fi module that only supports 2.4 GHz wireless networks.
• Have your Wi-Fi network's SSID (name) and Password ready. These are case-sensitive.
Connect to Display Wi-Fi
1. Open a web browser on your device. Type "192.168.4.1" in the address bar but do not
press enter.
2. Go to your network settings to find and select the Wi-Fi signal coming from your display;
it will be named by the AcuRite display's model number.
• Connecting to the display's Wi-Fi will disconnect your device from your own Wi-Fi
network, which may result in an error message of "No Internet" on your device.
• If you do not see the display's model number under network settings, press and release
the "SET" button on the display to reactivate the Wi-Fi signal.
3. Return to the web browser with "192.168.4.1" in the address bar and press enter. This
should bring you to AcuRite's Wi-Fi Display Settings website.
• If the Settings website doesn't open, disconnect from the display's Wi-Fi on your device
repeat steps 1-3 in a new browser.
• If you get an error stating "This site can't be reached", make sure you are still connected
to the display's Wi-Fi network. You may need to have your device forget your own Wi-
Fi network so that it stays connected to the display's signal.
4. Select your Wi-Fi network name and enter your network password. If you want to
download your local forecast through My AcuRite, enter your zip code. Press "Save".

• After entering your credentials and clicking "Save", the site will move to a page that
says "Please wait while we update your settings." If you receive an error stating that
"This site can't be reached" while waiting for your settings to be updated, please
proceed to step 5. Your display should still connect properly to your Wi-Fi network,
allowing you to proceed with setup.
5. Download the My AcuRite mobile app or visit www.myacurite.com to complete setup.
You will need the device ID located on the back of the display.
NOTE: The display can be power cycled at any time to clear Wi-Fi credentials.
