    A. PRODUCT OVERVIEW 1. Description and Features ® ™ This technical practice describes the PairGain HiGain HLU-D41 List 2D, a HiGain Line Unit (HLU) which functions as the Central Office (CO) side of a repeater-less Fractional T1 (FT1) transmission system. The HLU-D41 can be plugged into a channel unit slot of a D4 channel bank or an SLC-96 channel bank.
