The lamp now lights up at level 3 (2500 lumen).

The lamp has 5 brightness levels;80 lm, 800 lm, 2500 lm, 5000 lm and 10000 lm.
3. To turn the lamp off, press and hold the minus button more than 1 second.
CONTROLLING THE LIGHT MODES WITH THE REMOTE CONTROL
To establish Bluetooth connection* between the lamp and the remote control - the lamp
must first be switched on. Now the remote can be switched on by a short press on any of the
buttons on the remote. The LED indicators on the remote will flash (blue) while the lamp and
the remote are synchronizing. Once connection is established, the indicators will be unlit and
the remote is ready to use. If the connection fails, the LED indicators will turn red.
1. Switch the lamp on.
2. Switch the remote on by pressing any button (+/-).
3. Wait for Bluetooth connection.
4. Press +/- to toggle between the brightness levels.
The LED indicators on the remote will indicate the current brightness level (in blue).
5. Switch the lamp and the remote off by pressing the minus button on the remote for more
than 1 second. When the remote is shutting down, the LED indicators will gradually become
unlit one by one (in red). If the lamp is switched off by using the minus button on the lamp
unit, or becomes out of range of the remote control - the remote will still be active. The re-
mote will then try to reconnect to the lamp for 2 minutes and then shut down automatically.
The battery time of the remote is approximately 10 hours. To save battery, the remote is
automatically switched off after 2 hours of inactivity. Read more about how to check the bat-
tery status under "Battery status indication".
The range of the remote control is approximately 5 meters.
Note! The range is decreased if the remote is placed in a pocket or blocked by an object.
*The lamp and the remote are paired at the factory and are ready to be used together. If the
remote for some reason has lost its pairing to the lamp or if a new remote is to be paired - an
initial pairing between the units needs to be performed. Initial pairing:
Press the plus button on the lamp unit and the remote at the same time for about 7 seconds.
The LED indicators on the remote starts flashing (in blue) and the lights of the Spectra
starts flashing faintly.
Once the pairing is complete - the Spectra lights will light up for a couple of seconds and
then turn off completely. All LED indicators on the remote will also turn off.
If the connection fails, the LED indicators will turn red.
FLEXIBLE LIGHT SETTING
The lamp unit of the Spectra has a flexible tilt angle to give you the free-
dom of adjusting the light beam where you want it. With grip friendly sur-
faces and an adjustment screw - it can be easily modified during activity.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
With extreme light output comes need for extreme cooling, since the
temperature of the lamp increases during use and can become warm.
Spectra is designed for optimal cooling in all aspects. The cooler is made
of cold forged aluminum and has wave shaped walls for additional cooling
surface. There is also a built-in temperature sensor that regulates the
heat for optimal performance.
The temperature of the lamp is affected by the brightness level, ambient air temperature and
airflow (speed).
Why does the light dim down for no apparent reason?
If the cooling is not sufficient, for instance if used while standing still, indoors or in high
temperatures, then the light will automatically be reduced until acceptable surface tempera-
ture on the lamp body is reached. This means that the lower the ambient temperature, the
stronger the light output.
Note! The lamp can get very hot!
Keep away from children.
Make sure that the lamp does not come in contact with sensible of flammable materials.
The front glass or heat sink must not be covered with dirt or other materials while the
lamp is switched on.
Never leave the lamp unattended while switched on.
Never look directly into the lamp while switched on.
LOW BATTERY WARNING
During operation of the headlamp there will be a low battery warning when 10% of the bat-
tery energy remains. This is indicated by the lamp flashing for 1 second.
RESERVE MODE
During operation, the lamp will go into reserve mode when there is 10% power left of the
battery. The light of the Spectra will flash before the lamp goes into this mode. You can tog-
gle between the reserve mode (250 lm) and level 1 brightness (80 lm) with the +/- buttons. It
is not possible to switch to the higher brightness levels once the lamp has entered reserve
mode.
BATTERY STATUS INDICATION
Indication on the battery:
When the battery has just been connected or the when the lamp is switched on - the LED in-
dicators on the battery will show the current battery status for 30 seconds. To check battery
status during use, the lamp needs to be switched OFF and then back ON again.
Indication on the remote control:
The battery status can also be monitored during use with the remote control and is shown by
the LED indicators on the remote. A short press on the side button on the remote shows the
status of the lamp battery. Press and hold the side button on the remote for about 3 seconds
to get information about the internal battery of the remote control.
The LED indicators on the battery/remote indicates the following:
5 green LEDs = Fully charged
4 green LEDs = 80% of the battery remains
3 green LEDs = 60% of the battery remains
2 green LEDs = 40% of the battery remains
1 green LED = 20% of the battery remains
1 red LED = 10% of the battery remains
