Step 1.
Refer to applicable service manual instructions; remove and retain engine cowl.
Disconnect ship's battery, Negative (-) terminal first.
Step 2.
Refer to applicable service manual instruction; remove existing regulator.
Step 3.
Select a suitable location to mount the LR3D. Mounting on the pilot's side of the
firewall or inside the cabin near the panel, terminal strip down, is preferred (linear
controllers are electrically "quiet" and create little or no noise when properly installed
and grounded).
Take care to choose a mounting location that will protect the LR3D
