Note: To use the voice answer feature, you must
have the
Auto-Answer
"Auto answer" on page 36), the
option selected (see "Headset sounds" on
page 35), and the phone set to
(see "Ringer mode" on page 28).
Use voice answer
When you receive an incoming call, the phone
prompts "Incoming call, answer?". If the caller is
recognized as a contact entry in your phone, the
phone prompts "Incoming call from (Name),
answer?". Say "Yes" to answer or "No" to silence
the alert without answering.
Voice wake-up
You can activate voice dialing by saying "wake up"
twice. Select >

Features Voice Wake-Up
enable calls with an accessory.
Note: You must use a headset or hands-free kit
and connect the AC adapter to the phone and the
wall outlet for voice wake-up to work.
To wake up the phone:
1. Say "Wake Up" and listen for a tone.
2. Say "Wake Up" again until you hear two tones.

If the phone does not recognize your Wake Up
command, see "Voice training" on page 35.

Voice training
You can train your phone to recognize specifically
your voice for numbers. Use voice training only
when you find your voice not recognized with
acceptable accuracy.
If your phone is having trouble recognizing your
voice, select
Voice Features
Train Numbers
number until training is complete.
Note: You must read the numbers digit by digit
for voice training to work.
