The Hi-Z Antennas 8 elements receiving system utilizing shortened vertical elements has been designed to provide a high-performance receiving antenna for the Amateur low bands covering 160 or 80 meters. The unique advantage of the 8-element system is that it can be switched electrically to provide receiving capability in eight different directions.

  • Page 6 One can certainly physically put your antenna 1 in any direction of the compass. Direction 1 is typically North. That way when the Hi-Z antennas shack switch is used the LED indicators will indicate direction just like looking at a North Up map.
