How to use the HTC Desire C mobile devices Orientation First, a quick overview of your primary buttons and areas of your phone. A) Headphone Jack B) Power – Hold down to power your phone on or off. If your phone is on, press normally to lock or unlock your phone.
PIN. Managing Contacts On the HTC phones, Contacts are managed under an app called People. This can be found under the Menu Key and scrolling through the apps pages until you find it (these are listed alphabetically).
Make Phone Calls To make a phone call, press the phone icon in the bottom left of the touch screen on the home page. Once in the call screen, you will be presented with a keypad on the bottom, and your contacts on top.

Tethering (Using the HTC as a Wireless Router for a laptop) If you are going to tether a laptop to your HTC wirelessly for internet connection, go to the Menu Key, and find the icon for Wi-Fi Hot Spot (icons are listed alphabetically). Read and tap OK.

Now you will need to connect to the HTC device. If your Wireless Network hasn’t detected the HTC automatically, you will need to click on Refresh Network List. Once HTC is detected, make sure it is highlighted and click on the Connect button.

In the system tray (icons near the clock in the bottom right) find the Wireless Network icon and click. Now you will need to connect to the HTC device. If your Wireless Network hasn’t detected the HTC automatically, you will need to click to refresh your Network List.

Now copy the files from the storage card to a folder in your computer. After copying the files, unmount the removable disk (that is, the connected HTC Desire C) as required by your computer’s operating system to safely remove HTC Desire C.
