ASSEMBLY
INSTALLING POWER CORD IN CORD RETAINER (Figs. 5A, 5B, & 5C)
WARNING:
!
Maintain vacuum with care. Inspect electrical cord before and after each use. A cord that has a cut
or abraded jacket, exposed or frayed wires, or damaged, missing, loose prongs can result in electric
shock, fire, injury or death. Immediately stop using the vacuum, if damaged is found.
Power cord must always be installed in the cord retainer while operating the
vacuum. Secure the power cord to the vacuum using the cord retainer on the waist
belt as shown on page 9, Fig. 5C. Failure to use the cord retainer can result in
electric, shock, fire, injury or death.
To reduce the risk of personal injury due to a loose electrical connection between the vacuum's plug and
the electrical outlet, firmly and fully attach the vacuum plug to the electrical outlet. Periodically check
the connection while operating to ensure it is fully attached. Do not use a power cord that provides a
loose connection. A loose connection may result in overheating, fire, and increases the risk of a burn.
NOTE: The power cord should NOT be plugged into the
wall outlet at this time.
