11.10 Installation
Checking the unit
Check whether the fitted unit is level and has suffi-

cient load-bearing capacity.
The max. weight of the appliance is 6 kg.
Note: Note the furniture manufacturer's specifica-
tions with regard to the load-bearing capacity of the
fitted unit.
Ensure that the fitted unit is heat-resistant up to

90 °C.
Ensure that the fitted unit is still stable after the cut-

outs have been made.
Preparing the units
Requirement: The unit is suitable for the installation.

Cover the hob to prevent damage.

Make the cut-out for the exhaust pipe.

When installing in cabinets with an intermediate

floor, make the cut-out in the intermediate floor.
Remove any shavings.

Preparing the appliance
Remove the grease filters.
To avoid causing damage, do not bend the grease
filters.
Installing the appliance
When installing without an intermediate floor, meas-

ure and mark the holes for the mounting brackets
on the side walls.
When installing with an intermediate floor, slightly

screw the mounting brackets onto the appliance. In-
sert the appliance into the opening in the intermedi-
ate floor. Mark the holes for the mounting brackets
on the side walls. Unscrew the mounting brackets
from the appliance again.

Screw the mounting brackets to the unit. In doing

so, only tighten the screws tight enough that the
mounting bracket can still be moved.
Screw the appliance onto the mounting brackets.

Align the appliance and the mounting brackets in

the cabinet and tighten all of the screws.
Secure the exhaust pipe to the air pipe connector.

Connect the exhaust pipe to the exhaust air opening

on the external air extraction system.
Seal the joints.

Insert the mains plug into the protective contact

Fit the grease filters.

To avoid causing damage, do not bend the grease
filters.
Changing the filter pull-out's limit stop
Pull out the filter pull-out fully.

Undo the screw for the front end stop and pull it for-

wards as far as possible.
Close the filter pull-out and align it to the furniture.

Pull out the filter pull-out again.
4.
Retighten the screw for the front end stop.
5.
Setting the air flow
Requirement: The grease filters have been removed.
