    In addition to the Z3-DME-01, you will need: a 1080p30/1080i SDI video source, a Z3-DME-01, a 12V power supply, a PC with the VLC media player downloaded, a coaxial cable and at least one Ethernet cable.

    6.3 Finding the Z3-DME-01 Using ZFinder ZFinder is a PC Utility that allows you to find any Z3 Technology product on your network. If you have not yet downloaded this to your computer, you can find it on the USB drive provided with your system.

    -Is the Ethernet cable plugged into the Z3-DME-01 solidly (do you see the link light on the Ethernet cable which indicates data is being transmitted)? -Does the Z3-DME-01 IP address and PC IP address have the same first two values (or, if netmask is set to 255.255.255.0, the same first three values)? -Do the Z3-DME-01 and the PC running VLC have the same netmask? (Default value in the Z3-DME-01 is 255.255.0.0)
