1 Use
The shut-off units are designed exclusively for use with a BT 2000-AC or BU13-AC pressure
control panel. They allow bilateral expansion of the existing supply system with further gas
cylinders and separate shut-off of the two supply lines.
All stipulations valid for the pressure control panel BT 2000-AC and BU13-AC must also be
observed during operation and use of the shut-off units.
The shut-off unit may only be used for the gas type acetylene.
Note
The materials and production processes used are tailored to the intended use.
All components represent the technical state of the art, comply with the recognised
engineering standards and meet the requirements of the standards and regulations applicable
in this field, in particular the acetylene regulations.
The components are manufactured with the utmost care and under clean conditions in special
workshops, where they are subject to continuous quality controls throughout the production
process.
Each complete system and its individual components are tested for correct functioning and
leak-tightness, thus ensuring compliance with the exacting Spectron quality standards.
Compliance with this instruction manual, and in particular
the safety instructions, is mandatory when handling the articles listed above.

2 Safety information Handling combustible gases Specialist knowledge is required when handling acetylene, and the instructions in this manual and existing regulations must be complied with. (possibly by briefly blowing them out). If damage is ascertained, the extension must not be connected. Screw connection kit in the case of BT2000-AC or pipe elbow of BU13-AC (5) to the connector (2) of the shut-off unit (1) and the connector (4) of the pressure control panel (3). -
Page 6: Repairs
4 Repairs For safety reasons, repairs must be carried out in authorised workshops, by the manufacturer or suitably qualified personnel. Only original spare parts may be used. After every repair, the panel must be checked for correct functioning and leak-tightness. The manufacturer accepts no liability for repairs not effected in authorised workshops, if the panels are modified or if non-original spare parts are used, and in such cases, the warranty is rendered null and void with immediate effect.
