Mesh a Wi-Fi Network Among WA8021V5 Devices
Use a WA8021V5 as a router, and other WA8021V5 devices as mesh devices.
1 Install and power on the first WA8021V5 (that is, the Router WA8021V5), which is used as a
router. For details, see
2 Log in to the web page of the router WA8021V5 and complete the initial guide to confirm the
Wi-Fi name and password. For details, see How to change the Wi-Fi name, password and
management password of the WA8021V5? in FAQs.
3 Place the second WA8021V5 (that is, the mesh AP WA8021V5) near the router WA8021V5
(within 2m) and connect the power cable of the mesh AP WA8021V5 to a socket.
4 Wait about one minute after the mesh AP WA8021V5 is powered on.
5 Check the indicator status of the router WA8021V5. If the indicator of the router WA8021V5
blinks slowly, which indicates that it successfully discovered the mesh AP WA8021V5.
6 Press the pairing button of the router WA8021V5 once. The indicators of these two WA8021V5
devices will blink quickly.
