INSTRUCTION SHEET
ESE REMOTE TESTER for RT models, (SIREMOTETESTER)
Description and Purpose
Remote detection of the operation status for Early Streamer Emission RT Terminal (ESE RT) models by luminous
information. Easily test the state of an nVent ERICO System 1000 Early Streamer Emission Terminal while on-site.
Instructions for Use
The SIREMOTETESTER works only in sunlight (minimum of 3300 lux of luminosity) and a minimum power load.
View the bottom of the device up to 100m away for a maximum of two minutes until LED light flashes, then proceed

ESE RT is out of service and needs to be replaced
4.
Green
LED (2 flashes at 1 second, every 2 minutes max) indicates:
ESE RT is operational
5.
Yellow
LED (2 flashes at 1 second, every 2 minutes max) indicates:
SIREMOTESTER operating problem is detected and requires attention or replacement*
*Note 1: Excludes charging issue or an insufficient charge level.
*Note 2: Immediately after assembly of the ESE RT and SIREMOTETESTER it will take up to 30 minutes
with sufficent sunlight for the tester to be operational, or 10 minutes with a high lumen flashlight.
*Note 3: A test cycle of the ESE RT is made every 3 hours after the SIREMOTETESTER is fully charged
and has sufficient sunlight.
Note 4: We recommend assembly 1 day before any job site installation, placing the assembly in sufficient
*
