Quick Start Guide CONNECTING TO TV TUNER Audio output from your recorder to RCA phono left/right audio inputs (white/red) on TV. To transfer TV signal through your recorder: 1. Remove the cable plug from your TV set, and insert it into the RF IN socket on the rear panel of your recorder.

Connections for Playback VIDEO OUTPUT (GOOD) With the supplied yellow video cable, connect your recorder from the video output jack to your TV’s video input jack. COMPONENT VIDEO OUTPUT (BEST) The Component Video output allows you to enjoy the best picture quality from a DVD video disc. It allows you to take advantage of Progressive Scan, which creates a picture with double the scan lines of traditional video pictures, and provides a sharper image.

Normal Disc Playback PLAYING A DISC 1. Press the POWER button on the front panel to switch the unit on. Switch the unit off by pressing it again. 2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front panel or on the remote as well. This will open the disc tray.
