Quick Start Guide CONNECTING TO TV TUNER Audio output from your recorder to RCA phono left/right audio inputs (white/red) on TV. To transfer TV signal through your recorder: 1. Remove the cable plug from your TV set, and insert it into the RF IN socket on the rear panel of your recorder.

Quick Start Guide After the initial setup, you can now enjoy your recorder. Read the following sections carefully to do so. TO PLAYBACK A DISC 1. Press INPUT to switch over to the power-on logo. 2. Press OPEN/CLOSE on the front panel or on the remote control to open the disc loader. 3.
Connections for Playback VIDEO OUTPUT (GOOD) With the supplied yellow video cable, connect your recorder from the video output jack to your TV’s video input jack. COMPONENT VIDEO OUTPUT (BEST) The Component Video output allows you to enjoy the best picture quality from a DVD video disc. It allows you to take advantage of Progressive Scan, which creates a picture with double the scan lines of traditional video pictures, and provides a sharper image.

Normal Disc Playback REPEAT FUNCTION The repeat function will replay a specific chapter, title or repeat the entire disc. 1. To repeat a chapter, press the REPEAT button. The highlighted icon shown in Figure 1 indicates that the current chapter will be repeated when the end of the chaper is reached.
