NSTALL AND HARGE THE

ANDSET ATTERY
1. Remove the cover.
2. Connect the battery pack
connector with the correct
polarity.
3. Replace the cover.
4. Plug the AC adapter cord into
the base unit. Plug the other
end into a 120V AC outlet.
5. Place the handset in the base and charge
continuously for 15-20 hours before using the
phone.

ONNECT TO A HONE
When the handset battery pack is fully charged, plug
the telephone cord into the base unit. Plug the other
end into a telephone wall jack.
Your phone is set for tone dialing. If your local network
requires pulse dialing, please see "Choosing the
Dialing Mode" in your owner's manual.

1. Press and hold CID/MENU.
2. Press VOL/ß or VOL/Ü to select the desired option.
3. Press SELECT to change the option setting to one
of the following:
• Auto Talk (On/Off)
• CIDCW (On/Off)
• Area Code (Enter/Remove)
• Dial (Pulse/Tone)
• Language (Eng/Esp)
4. Press end to exit. Return the handset to the base.

Pick up the handset and press talk/FLASH. Listen for
the dial tone, then dial the number. Or, dial the number,
then press talk/FLASH.

If Auto Talk is on, pick up the handset from the base. If
the handset is off the base, press talk/FLASH, any
number, */tone/ f or #/ g .
If AutoTalk is off, pick up the handset from the base and
press talk/FLASH. If the handset is off the base, press
talk/FLASH.
