always keep the appliance
in an upright position.
Operating the appliance in

of the appliance or the
appliance base, as this
could create a fire and/
or electrical hazard. Never
immerse the appliance in
water and always keep the
electrical contacts dry.
Do not let the mains cable
overhang the edge of the
work surface or allow it
to touch hot surfaces or
sources of heat or flame.
Always plug the appliance
directly into a wall socket.
Avoid using extension leads
where possible as they may
overheat and cause a risk of
fire.
Do not use this appliance
with an external
programmer, timer switch

be used with the appliance
base supplied.

appliance, as this could
cause injury.
Do not use the appliance
near or under surfaces that
are heat sensitive or those
that may be damaged by
steam.
Never place the appliance
on or near a source of heat
such as a cooker ring or gas
flame.

to heat anything other
than water, milk or milk
alternatives.
