Explosion Proof Box Cover w/ Red & Green LED Pilot

instruction sheet. Read carefully before operating. Retain these instructions for future reference.

USER SHOULD BE TRAINED IN THE PROPER USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THIS DEVICE. IF PROPER INSTALLATION PROCEDURES ARE NOT
FOLLOWED EXACTLY, THE CONTROL STATION MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR THE HAZARDOUS LOCATION INVOLVED.
PERIODIC INSPECTION OF THE ENCLOSURE IS NECESSARY.
ALL LOCAL AND NATIONAL ELECTRICAL/BUILDING CODES MUST BE FOLLOWED WHEN INSTALLING THIS DEVICE. FOR CODE
INTERPRETATION, CONSULT YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITY. PRODUCT MUST BE USED ONLY WITH ALL CAP THREADS FULLY ENGAGED. DO
NOT USE IF DAMAGED.
CAUTION:
Before installing, make sure you are compliant with area classifications, failure to do so may result in bodily injury, death
and property damage. Do not attempt installation until you are familiar with the following procedures. All installation must
comply with the applicable Electrical Code.
Make sure that the circuit is de-energized before starting installation or maintenance.
Verify that the installation is grounded. Failure to ground will create electrical shock hazards, which can cause serious
injury and or death.

INSTALLATION
We strongly recommend that only a licensed electrician install this product.
This Explosion Proof Control Station comes preconfigured from factory with two pilot lights colored Red.
WARNING:
Mis-wiring could cause permanent damage.
DO NOT connect with power applied.
1. Choose a suitable location to mount the control station where conduit can reach the box. 3/8"-16 or 3/8"-24 bolts
are recommended for mounting the box with a minimum bolt length of ¼" depending on the location.
2. Run control wire to box following appropriate methods via conduit.
3. Wire according to the wire diagram visible on each device.
After wiring each system, secure the enclosure and enable the circuit to test each system.
NOTE: All installations must comply with applicable local and/or National Electrical Code
