UMBERING YSTEM The FloppyFlex internal PCB is not symmetrically located within the housing, meaning each end will have a different PCB placement and will only marry with the appropriate EZ-Connector. After cutting, inspect end and note which numbered side is visible, “01” or “02”. The visible number determines which style of connection must be used. -

NSERTING THE PREADER The inner components of FloppyFlex are hermetically sealed inside a PVC or silicone housing that offers little clearance for connector installation. Using the insertion spreader tool, users can separate the flexible PCB from the PVC insulating strip and create a “pocket” for the connector input. This allows easy access to the copper conductors of the flexible PCB and ensures proper connectivity between the conductors and connector pins. -

FloppyFlex is uniquely durable LED neon replacement with unlimited potential in many applications, however it is not an invincible product. It is extremely important that FloppyFlex assemblies are adequately supported by aluminum mounting profiles which are installed with respect to the installation guidelines. - Page 26 Warning: Make sure cut edges of profile are smooth and do not have any burrs that can damage FloppyFlex. Most projects require smaller sections of profile to create curving shapes. In those cases, using our smallest 20 mm sections of profile, we recommend using at least 5 pieces per meter of FloppyFlex in order to have safe and proper support. - Page 32 Digital FloppyFlex products are the only individually DMX addressable versions. The process for addressing FloppyFlex is a function of the FloppyDrive being used to send power and control data to the assembly. While DMX starting address is user selectable, pixels are self-addressing afterwards. This means that pixels cannot be addressed individually out of order, rather they will be addressed sequentially.
