5. European Union only: This appliance can be used by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance.
6. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
8. Do not allow children to use the Hand Blender without
supervision.
9. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation.
10. Turn the appliance OFF (0), then unplug from the outlet if it is
left unattended and before, assembling, disassembling,
cleaning or when not in use. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull
from the outlet. Never pull from the Power Cord.
11. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
12. Avoid contacting moving parts.
13. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in
any manner. Return appliance to the nearest Authorised
Service Facility for examination, repair, or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
14. The use of accessories/attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or
injury to persons.
15. Always disconnect the Hand Blender from the supply if it is left
unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning

17. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
18. Do not let cord contact hot surfaces, including the stove.
19. Keeps hands and utensils out of the container while blending to
prevent the possibility of severe injury to persons or damage to
the unit. A scraper may be used but must be used only when
the unit is not running.
