CARE AND CLEANING

OVEN LIGHT

WARNING
SHOCK OR BURN HAZARD: Before
replacing oven light bulb, disconnect t he elect rical power t o
t he range at t he main fuse or circuit breaker panel. Failure t o
do so may result in elect ric shock or burn.
CAUTION
BURN HAZARD: The glass cover and bulb
should be removed when cool. Touching hot glass wit h bare
hands or a damp clot h can cause burns.
Oven Light Replacement
NOTE: The glass cover should be removed only when cold.
Wearing lat ex gloves may offer a bet t er grip.
Before replacing t he bulb, disconnect elect rical power t o t he
oven at t he main fuse or circuit breaker panel. Let t he bulb
cool complet ely before removing it . For your safet y do not
t ouch a hot bulb wit h a damp clot h. If you do t he bulb may
break.
To remove:
Turn t he glass cover count erclockwise 1/ 4 t urn unt il t he t abs
of t he glass cover clear t he grooves of t he socket and pull
t he cover off. Remove t he bulb.
To replace:
Put in a new 40- wat t appliance bulb. Place t he t abs of t he
glass cover int o t he grooves of t he socket . Turn t he glass
cover clockwise 1/ 4 t urn.
NOTE:
A 40- wat t appliance bulb is smaller t han a st andard
40- wat t household bulb.
Reconnect elect rical power t o t he oven once t he new bulb
is inst alled.
For improved light ing inside t he oven, clean t he glass
cover frequent ly using a wet clot h. This should be done
when t he oven is complet ely cool.

OVEN DOOR

The door is very heavy. Be careful when removing and lift ing
t he door. Do not lift door by t he handle.
To Remove t he Door:
1.
Fully open t he door.
2.
Pull t he hinge locks up and away from t he range frame t o
t he unlocked posit ion.
3.
Firmly grasp bot h sides of t he door near t he t op.
4.
Close door unt il t he t op of t he door is approximat ely 6"
from t he range frame.
5.
Lift door up and away from t he range unt il bot h hinge
arms are clear of t he slot s in t he range frame.
Pull hinge locks up t o unlock
To Replace t he Door:
1.
Firmly grasp bot h sides of t he door near t he t op.
2.
Wit h t he door at t he same angle as t he removal posit ion,
rest t he not ch on t he underside of t he left hinge arm on
t he bot t om edge of t he left hinge slot . The not ch in t he
hinge arm must be fully seat ed int o t he bot t om of t he
slot . Repeat for t he right side.
3.
Fully open t he door. If t he door will not fully open, t he
not ches in t he bot t oms of t he hinge arms have not
seat ed correct ly in t he bot t om edge of t he slot . Lift t he
door off t he range and repeat previous st ep.
4.
Push t he hinge locks t oward t he range cavit y and down
t o t he locked posit ion.
5.
Close t he oven door.
