- Page 2 Overview This option enables the System to perform rough-cutting (trimming) while automatically monitoring the exposure of the tissue on the sample block surface via a CCD camera under two LED lights (incident and reflective). The System continues trimming until tissue is exposed for the predetermined tissue exposure ratio (%).

- Page 5 1-1-1．Setting the Main Body Set the conditions for the Auto Trimming function using the operation panel of the main unit. Setting Auto Trimming Chose “MAINTENANCE” on the MAIN MENU screen. ① Chose “AUTO TRIMMING” on the MAINTENANCE screen. - Page 7 １－２．Setting the Auto Trimming Analysis Software 1－2－1．How to install the Auto Trimming Analysis software （１） Open the AsScan_9 folder. （２）Click （３）Press Next (N) when the AsScan setup wizard appears. （４）Choose the folder to install the software then click next. （５）Click Next on the installation conformation screen when appeared.

TissuePlane is a place where it is recognized as the surface of the block that is displayed in white. Check if the system recognizes the same area with the block surface as shown in A. If it is displayed like B, measure the amount of light on the surface of the block again and check whether there is no variation in the amount of light or whether the light is not strong or weak.
