- Page 9 Gps overview When the SGGPSAD is first powered on it will begin looking for satellite signals, if the SGGPSAD has not been used for several hours the time setting will revert to the selected offset value when there is no GPS signal, once signal has been detected the clock will update, once this has happened the GPS will begin negotiating the connection.
