  • Page 34: Step 2. Sound Card Installation

    INS 3 is the microphone input. Nothing goes into INS 4. Do NOT connect the other end of the audio cables to the SDR-1000 at this time 4. Turn on your computer and load the Delta 44 driver for the new sound card.

Software (PowerSDR ) Installation and Configuration Installation Install the PowerSDR application found on the FlexRadio Knowledge Base in the Downloads -> PowerSDR Releases (Windows) folder Follow the prompts to complete the installation.   • Page 38 Frequency Calibration (Page 40 - POWERSDR Calibration) then proceed to the section pertaining to your favorite mode. Optimum performance is achieved when the SDR-1000 is calibrated; however, complete calibration of the radio is not necessary to make your first contact. We recommend you complete the calibration procedures as soon as possible.
