CTSIR is an electronic device to detect the acoustic emissions of sirens used on police vehicles and emergency vehicles such as
ambulances and fire engines.
The acoustic siren detector CTSIR has been designed to allow public safety vehicles to rapidly access areas limited to transit by bollards
or barriers.
- The CTSIR detector works with a voltage of 9 to 30V AC/DC.
- It will also work if the supply power polarities are accidentally reversed.
- High selectivity. The CTSIR detector will work only if the sound received is identified as that of a siren.
- The new spring connector allows it to be connected quickly without any screws to tighten.
- Simple to install thanks to the suitable housing for outdoor installation.
- The relay contacts output is split so that two automations can be controlled simultaneously (entrance and exit).
- Install the CTSIR detector with the cable and microphone passage holes facing down, at least 1 metre from the ground.
- Thread the connection cable through the hole on the side of the housing.
- Preferably use the four holes in the housing and lock with the screws or stainless steel tie rods, making sure they let no humidity
through.
- Connect the wires to the terminal, pressing on the orange lever.
- Close the housing, verifying it still has the same protection level.
DIP 1 OFF:
Detects the sound only if it is the help type siren used only in some countries.
DIP 1 ON:
Detects the sound emitted by standard sirens on police vehicles and emergency vehicles, also detecting the intensity.
(recommended setting)
DIP 2 OFF:
Analyses the sound of sirens in about 2.5 sec.
DIP 2 ON:
Analyses the sound of sirens in about 5 sec.
DIP 3 OFF:
The relay remains active only for the time during which the sound emitted by a siren is recognised (recommended setting).
DIP 3 ON:
After the sound of the siren has been recognised, the relay remains active for an indefinite time.
To reset it, first cut power and then give power or press the "reset" key on the circuit.
DIP 4 OFF:
The relay remains active only for the time during which the sound emitted by a siren is recognised.
DIP 4 ON:
