Bad Signal extended period of time and reduces the performance. INSTRUCTIONS BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION KidiMagic StarLight uses 4 AA batteries or a VTech 6V adaptor ® (sold separately). 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover. -

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION • Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -). • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries. • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. -

• Never clean a plugged in toy with liquid. • Please examine the power supply periodically for conditions that may result in the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons (such as damage to the supply cord, output cord, plug, blades, housing, or other parts) and that, in the event of such conditions, the power supply should be scrapped. -

STANDBY MODE To preserve battery life, KidiMagic StarLight will automatically enter standby mode if there is no operation for a period of time. You can also press the Clock button to go to standby mode if you are already in clock mode. - Page 12 LONG-TIME LIGHT ON FEATURE There is a long-time light on feature for KidiMagic. You can set the light to stay on for a long time in some modes when an adaptor is being used. We recommend the use of an adaptor whenever possible.

- Page 14 Note: • To get good radio reception, adjust the position of the antenna situated on the back of the unit. • In FM Radio mode, only the screen will light up, not the main light. After a short while, the screen display will dim. To make it brighter, press any button.
- Page 15 Magic Card Reader Here it can reveal your personality! All you have to do is choose a deck of cards by presssing the buttons or by waving your palm, and then choose a card from a selected deck of cards by pressing the buttons or by waving your palm.
- Page 16 Fruit Slice Remember the fruit shown at the beginning, then slice it each time it appears on the screen to make a fruit salad or a fruit juice. Press the OK button or wave your palm above KidiMagic StarLight to cut the fruit. - Page 17 6.3 Projection Orientation The time projection can be reversed for easy viewing. Press the buttons to choose a different time display orientation. This default orientation is used for desk side viewing. When you are playing games or listening to the radio or music, the time will be shown on the ceiling if you look up.
