Nebulizer Port

Synchronized &
Volume Compensated
The nebulization feature provides a synchronized flow of 7LPM (±1LPM) to power a pneumatic nebulizer
connected to the nebulizer outlet.
The in-line nebulizer is powered by 100% O
, is synchronized with the patient inspiratory phase of each
2
breath, and can be adjusted in increments of 5 minutes for a maximum of 60 minutes.
The ventilator volume ventilation algorithm compensates for the additional in-line volume.
The nebulizer should be connected to the inspiratory limb per the institution's policy and procedures.
Connecting the nebulizer between the flow sensor and the endotracheal tube increases the dead space
ventilation.
Note: Nebulizer cannot be activated when set volume < 200ml
