  • Page 2 Install the reader in the mounting bracket with two of the screws re-moved in Step 1. The screws should not be over-tight. Note; not all machines require brackets.   • Page 3 Installation Insert the black connector on the installation harness into the mating connector on the rear of the reader. Make sure that the lock-ing tab faces up and locks into place with the protrusion on the top of the reader connector. Cable Part # AYS-168140 Insert the reader and bracket assembly into the coin vault opening.
  • Page 4 Programming & Testing Programming Connect power to the machine and verify that the machine displays a normal startup sequence without errors. When the startup sequence is complete, the display should indicate “F-62”. You may now program the device using the following cards: Insert the System Key Card into the card reader .
