- Page 3 SET-UP (See Figure 1) 1. Connect one end of a 9-pin serial communications cable to the “COMM.” receptacle located on the rear panel of the magnetic stirrer. - Page 4 OPERATION The alarm circuit is automatically started when the main power switch is turned on. The alarm circuit operates at any RPM setting between 25 - 400. The “ALARM RESET” push button is located on the rear panel – see figure 1. When the alarm has been activated, pressing this button will silence the audible alarm and switch the alarm output relay.
