Please read all instructions carefully before using this cooker.
1. PREPARATION
1) DO NOT plug into power outlet before all cooking ingredients have been prepared and ready.
2) Before using for the first time, clean the ceramic pot in and out thoroughly by wiping with a
damp sponge or cloth with mild washing detergent.
3) Wash and rinse the ceramic lid and ceramic stew pot. Make sure to dry well.
4) Place the ceramic inner pot into the multi-cooker while slightly turning the ceramic inner pot
to ensure proper contact and connection. The inner pot must be leveled and sitting in the
middle of the cooker making sufficient contact with the heating element.
5) Use for soup, porridge or braise: Make sure the amount of water is not more than 'MAX' level.
6) Use for steam: Make sure the amount of water is not more than 1000ML.
7) Use for stewing: Put the cooking ingredients into the ceramic stew pot and add the necessary
amount of water. Cover inner pot with the ceramic inner and outer lids. Add water to the
black ceramic pot no more than 1500ML, then insert the ceramic inner pot with the rack
into the black ceramic pot and cover with the lid.
* To save time, boiling water can be added into the black ceramic pot.
* Before putting the ceramic inner pot into the black ceramic stew
pot, add water into the black ceramic stew pot first.
8) Use for cooking soup, porridge, braise or slow cooking: Put the cooking ingredients into the
ceramic pot, add the proper amount of water, then cover with the lid.
* CAUTION: The max amount of water and food should not be more than 80% of the capacity
of the ceramic inner pot when cooking.
2. CONNECT POWER:
Plug power cord into the grounded socket. There is a "beep" sound and the digital screen display
will show "----". Press the ON/OFF button and all the function indicators will turn on. The digital
screen display will show "-OFF". The appliance is now in standby mode.
