AIR CLEANING VERSION In case installation of a vent duct or outdoors discharge system is not possible, each electronic exhaust system may be transformed into an air cleaning system through the application of a special discharge extension (fig. 23), of actived carbon filters and of three germicidal lamps; these accessories are supplied on request.
UNPACKING Unpack, removing all the wrapping and protecting material. Check that the package contains all the literature and necessary accessories: the guarantee (to be filled out and returned to the manufacturer), the instructions, the three metal brackets, the dowels and the screw on equipments (to fasten the hood onto the wall).
EXTENSION ASSEMBLY MONTAGE DE LA RALLONGE The two exhaust versions come with three types of cover extensions: - for center discharge - for left-hand or right-hand side discharge (see figs. p. 7). The extensions consist of a 80 cm wide fore section, two side elements, a crosspiece joining the sides, two discharge connectors, two 15 cm diam.

Connect to the power supply (fig. 30) inserting the plug with ground conductor in the corresponding power outlet. Make sure that the supply mains is efficiently grounded and that the supply voltage agrees with the rated voltage indicated on the plate affixed to the upper wall of the appliance.
Finally, before you assemble the cover of the extension, slightly widen the four wings on the sides of the cover to ensure greater tightness (fig. 33).
