If the remote and manual connector do not activate the ZEAK 5500-LB winch, possible issues could include:
1. Power Connection Issues – Check if the winch is properly connected to a 12-volt power source. Ensure the terminals are securely attached, and inspect for loose or corroded connections. 2. Faulty Grounding – Verify that the ground wire is properly connected and making good contact. Poor grounding can prevent the winch from operating. 3. Blown Fuse or Circuit Breaker – Check if the winch has an inline fuse or circuit breaker that may have tripped or blown, preventing power flow. 4. Remote or Control Issues – Ensure the remote has functioning batteries (if applicable) and is properly paired with the winch. If using a wired connector, inspect for damaged wiring. 5. Motor Overload or Stalling – If the motor has overheated or stalled, allow it to cool down and ensure the load does not exceed the rated capacity. 6. Internal Winch Fault – If submerged in water or exposed to extreme moisture, the internal components may be damaged, requiring inspection and re-lubrication by a qualified technician.
If none of these resolve the issue, further troubleshooting or professional inspection may be needed.

the rated load. Do not maintain power to the winch if the motor stalls. Double line rigging will help prevent overloading and should be used whenever practical. 18. When finished pulling the load, reverse the direction of the winch just enough to release tension on the wire rope so that you can unfasten the hook from the load and reel in the wire rope.
