To ensure long life and reliability from your ER2K Module please adhere to the following guidelines
The ER2K components are designed to IP65 and are suitable for use in installations where
sprinklers are used, however DO NOT SUBMERGE COMPONENTS.
Driver units are designed to IP65 however the standard mains AC plug is not. Do not expose
the mains plug to wet or damp conditions. If the driver needs to operate in a damp or wet
location it must be installed with an IP65 junction box by a suitably qualified electrician.
It is strongly advised to keep the lens clean. Use IPA or warm soapy water with a lint free
cloth to gently wipe the surface. Do not use volatile solvents of any kind and never clean
while switched on and hot.
Never Cover the module heat sink. Free flow convective air currents are required for correct
and safe operation.
Never operate the unit face down laying directly on any surface. The module mount plate,
attached to a suitable supporting lanyard or chain, must be used at all times.
Never operate the module at angles of tilt greater than 36 .
Always maintain a minimum clearance of 150mm between the LED light emitting surface
and any other surface. Avoid touching or exposing skin at close quarters.
Before unplugging any part of the system disconnect driver from mains supply. It is
recommended to disconnect the module prior to repositioning to avoid overstressing and
damaging cable entries.
There are no user serviceable components anywhere in the system. Do not dismantle or
loosen fasteners on any part of the system as this may cause possible malfunction and void
the warranty.
