- Page 3 STEP FIVE Now the fun part... String your bow. Find a surface that is soft or forgiving so it wont damage your bow tip. Grass, carpet, even the top of your shoe! As seen in picture , loop your bow string onto the BOTTOM bow tip (that will be on the ground).

After your done shooting and storing your FBP: It is extremely important that you remove the bowstring while you are not using the bow. This will prolong the life of the bow arms and bow handle as well as the bow string.
