Maintenance Tips

• If at any time the diverter valve becomes
sluggish or malfunctions: This is often due
to mineral build up from the water.
Remove diverter valve from faucet and
soak in hot water and 1/4 cup of white
vinegar, soak 7-10 minutes, remove,
allow diverter valve to dry, apply a drop of
vegetable or olive oil into the hole to
re-lubricate pin. Hook back up, if trouble

• If away from the filter system for more
then 4 weeks, it is recommended that you
remove cartridge place in a airtight bag
and place in refrigerator, it keeps
cartridge fresh.
• The 10 Stage Water Filter is for use with
cold water only. If you run hot water
through the 10 Stage Water Filter, it will
dramatically shorten the life of the filter.
However, a second or two of exposure
will not cause any damage.
