Remove plastic sleeve
2)
Release lock latch by squeezing the
handles together a little and moving
the lock downwards towards the
handles (NOT upwards towards cut-
ting mechanism)
3)
The lock latch can be removed if
required
4)
NOTE: The latch is not designed to
be a secure lock.
Closing In Ratchet Mode (Button in ON position)
1)
Open and close handles (as if you were cutting something) until blade is closed.
2)
This allows the ratchet mechanism to engage and keep the loppers closed
3)
Put the plastic cover over the blades and move latch in to place
4)
Store in a dry, safe place

Close handles
2)
