- Page 3 Coloursmith Reader Quick Start Guide Welcome to your Coloursmith Reader With this nifty device you’ll soon be on your way to capturing and creating colours you love. Whether you want to match an existing colour in your home—or capture colour from an object, image or surface—it couldn’t be easier.
- Page 4 2. Connect and Calibrate – Select ‘Create from Match’ then ‘Connect Device’. – Remove the cap, press the Wake button on the base of the Reader. The LED indicator will begin to flash. – Once your smartphone finds the Reader (should only take a few seconds) the light will flash quickly.
- Page 5 3. Capture and Create – Place the Reader directly onto the colour you want to capture and select ‘Match’. – Confirm the details of your captured colour. – Give your colour a name. After all, you created it! Quick Tip Keep your reader in tip-top shape by keeping the calibration tile safe and clean, and not leaving the battery fully discharged for long periods of time.
