PROPELLER SAFETY

PROPELLER(S) MAY CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. Shut off the engine(s) when near persons in the water,
prior to using the swim platform, or the boarding ladder

MEANS OF UNASSISTED REBOARDING

The NauticStar Offshore series comes standard with an AFT swim ladder for quick and easy water access. See the following
for reboarding instructions.
• Fold over the swim ladder
• Remove bungee
• Pull down on bottom rung until ladder is fully deployed
• Climb ladder always keeping at least one hand and one foot in contact with ladder or handrail

LIFTING THE BOAT

When the boat is hoisted from the water, proper use of the stern eyes or a sling system is required for all NauticStar XS
models. Though stern eyes are designed to lift a boat from the water, care must be taken to ensure you do not damage
your boat. A spreader bar used at the stern will help ensure that the load at the stern eyes is vertical. A strap placed
between stern eyes, and then lifted from the mid-point, is not the recommended method, and will put substantial additional
stress on the stern eye mounting location.
