Please make sure that the following parts for your lamp are enclosed:
A. Lamp base
B. Glass shade
C. Metal ring for glass
D. Frosted glass shield
E. Bayonet base halogen bulb made by Osram in Germany (100 Watts)
SHADE & BULB INSTALLATION
1. Insert the bulb into the bayonet socket. The bulb is inserted by
pushing it slightly down into the socket and then turning it clockwise.
NOTE: BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH THE BULB WITH YOUR BARE HANDS.
2. Set the glass shield (D) over the bulb and socket.
3. Set the glass shade (B) on the three-pronged glassholder, covering the bulb and
glass shield. See diagram.
4. Holding the metal ring (C) in your left hand, loosen the screw to allow the ring to slip
over the stem on the base of the lamp.
5. Insert the stem of the lamp into the hole on the ring just far enough down that the
glass is held in place by the ring (approximately 2 inches from the top of the stem).
6. Tighten the screw on the metal ring by hand.
7. Plug lamp into your outlet. The lamp is now operational.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Use only a soft, dry cloth to clean. If necessary, a slightly damp, soft cloth may be used
to spot clean.
Do not use common household cleaners or brass cleaners on lamps or fixtures, as the
lacquer on the outside of the brass may be damaged as a result.

Note of Caution: The recommended replacement bulbs for this fixture are 100 W Osram
Bayonet Base Halogen bulbs. Use of other brands of unknown quality may cause a risk
of overheating.
