SPC4™ SYSTEM • MODEL 406A • USER'S MANUAL
The calibration gage (see
(CG)
) is used to check the calibration of the 406A unit.
When the probe is attached to the end marked
406A unit will display a load value of "000" ±5% (between
-5% "-005" and +5% "005").
When the probe is attached to the end marked
the 406A unit will display a load value of "100" ±5%
(between 95% "095" and 105% "105").
The brass bristle brush (see
(BBB)
) is supplied with each unit in the event that a
SPC4™ fastener datum-disk experiences corrosion,
potentially seen in fastener's installed after several years.
Use the BBB only on the SPC4™ fastener and
attempt to use it on any surface of the 406A unit.
The carrying case (
protects the 406A unit and kit contents during
transportation on and to the job, or when it is being stored
for later use.
