- Page 4 KettenMax. Let the chain dry for about 3 to 5 minutes. Put the lubricating adaptor on the upper nozzle connection on the KettenMax (chain outgoing side). Spray in the lubricant in steps. Rotate the rear wheel slowly (2 x chain runs per minute). The lubricant accurately coats the important inner side of the chain and is evenly distributed by brushes.
