II. Operation of Locking Switch
Toggle down the locking switch to locking side when the instrument is
powered off, and the instrument shall enter into manual mode; and toggled
up to open side, the instrument in the auto mode.
Manual Mode: The instrument won't level off automatically since the
function has been disabled. Thus accuracy of instrument can't be ensured,
and this mode is applicable for inclined laser surfaces. The locking
indicator is now turned on, and laser beam shall flash once every 3
seconds as indication.
Auto Mode: The auto levelling function is enabled to ensure laser beams
to be horizontal / vertical. This mode is applicable for providing horizontal /
vertical benchmark surfaces as a reference of construction.
III. Using of Lithium Cell
A lithium cell may serve for 2-3 years. Don't dismount the battery by
yourself when the cell life is over. Replace it instead in the
maintenance shop.
