Product Profile Sollega designs, tests and manufactures solar moun)ng solu)ons serving the US market. The FastRack is a patented, one-piece, injec)on molded solar racking system designed for both commercial low-pitch roofs and ground mount installa)ons. It is made from BASF Ultramid Glass-filled Nylon, for strength and durability (25 year warranty) in a lightweight part. It is also designed for simple assembly and disassembly and is 100% recyclable. Sollega racking systems are compa)ble with all common solar panels currently on the market. Our universal design enables the installa)on of 60, 72, 96, and 128 cell modules in landscape or portrait orienta)on. All aHachments are top mount, enabling easy access. Headquartered in beau)ful San Francisco, we welcome you to let us know how we can best serve your needs and look forward to providing you the highest quality, lowest cost solar racking solu)ons available. Sincerely, Elie Rothschild, CEO Sollega Inc.

FastRack 510 Installation Manual Important Installa)on Details (con)nued) Electrical Safety Any work done with PV and electrical equipment presents a shock hazard. Sollega FastRack is a mechanical solar moun)ng system and contains no “live” parts. Mechanical installers and electricians should coordinate in order to ensure that all personnel are aware of electrical hazards. Assembly Modifica)ons Unauthorized field modifica)on of Sollega components or assemblies may affect Sollega warranty coverage. Provide wriHen drawings for Sollega’s review, comment and approval prior to aHemp)ng any field modifica)ons. Also, follow the requirements listed in the System Layout Guidelines. General Informa)on The installa)on of solar modules requires a great degree of skill and should only be performed by qualified licensed professionals, including, without limita)on, licensed contractors and electricians. The installer should be familiar with construc)on standards established by the Occupa)onal Safety and Health Administra)on (OSHA). They should also plan for safe prac)ce during any installa)on ac)vity with respect to hazards from tripping, falling, liiing, repe))ve stress, and any overhead or electrical hazards. When working close to building roof edges, consider protec)on op)ons that reduce worker exposure to fall hazards. Refer to OSHA Sub Chapter 7, Group 1, Ar)cle 2. Sollega FastRack is made from BASF Ultramid and has the UL material ra)ng UL 94-HB. When used as described in this installa)on manual, these materials are considered to be nontoxic. Project Specific Design Modifica)ons On-site workers assis)ng in the installa)on process may encounter undocumented or unexpected obstacles requiring a modifica)on of the project system design supplied by Sollega. Since PV arrays are intended to be primarily regular and repea)ng structures, any modifica)ons to the original design should be noted on working drawings. If the array is disconnected or if the number of rows or length of a row is changed, contact a Sollega engineer for a revised ballast layout. Care for the Roof WARNING! Single-ply roofs are not damage tolerant. Avoid accumula)on of metal fragments that result from drilling or sawing metal components. Metal fragments embedded in the soles of shoes can damage single-ply roofs. The service life of any roof is con)ngent upon care for the roof especially during equipment installa)on on a roof. Avoid concentrated loads on the roof. Never drag components into place. Instead, elevate the component, and then move it manually or with a cart. Locate it and then place it “on spot.” To ensure roofing system warranty con)nua)on, work with roofing contractors to ensure roofing system and array compa)bility. Final inspec)on Visually inspect assembled arrays. The suggested process consists of a row-by-row walk-through and then a perimeter walk- around, aier mechanical assembly, before electrical comple)on. Report any distor)on in the assembly to Sollega. Array substrate supports should be in full contact with the roof or the ground. Any indica)on of uneven distribu)on of weight should corrected before con)nuing with electrical finishing. be evaluated and Sollega Inc.
