The filter is one piece? How do you put the sand in and get the cartridge all the way down to seal it back up?

The Blue Torrent Sand Shark filter is not a one-piece unit; it includes multiple parts such as a base, filter tank, standpipe, 4-way valve, and other components.
To add sand: 1. Place the nub on the bottom of the tank into the notched base and twist right until snug. 2. Insert the standpipe into the filter and cover it with the plastic protector. 3. Fill the tank with filter-grade sand around the standpipe until the sand level is between 1/2 and 3/4 of the tank height. 4. Remove the plastic protector and fill the tank with water until just below the standpipe opening.
To seal the cartridge: - Lubricate the tank's O-ring with O-ring lube (not included) to ensure a proper seal.

@Mr. Anderson How do I separate the standpipe from the valve? It came out in one piece as I’m replacing the sand. I’m afraid to break it.
