OCCLY Blinc USER GUIDE
FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE BLINC
Please refer to the images to the left, and take a
moment to familiarize yourself with the Occly
Blinc.
The Occly System Includes both a Device and
Mobile App.
PREPARING THE BLINC FOR USE
Step 1:
Before first use, please ensure you have fully
charged your Blinc. A charger is included with
every Occly Blinc and the charging port is locat-
ed on the bottom left side. Simply pull back the
protective rubber flap and insert the USB char-
ger into the Blinc to begin charging. Please allow
2-4 hours to fully charge your Blinc for the first
time. Charge level is also indicated within the
Occly app.
Step 2:
Please visit Google Play Store or Apple App
Store to download and install the Occly mobile
application. You can find it by searching for
"Occly".
Step 3:
Once you have charged the Occly device and
downloaded the Occly App, the next step is to
pair the Blinc to your phone.

  • Page 9 OCCLY Blinc USER GUIDE Once you access your account, you will see the “Account Menu” shown in the photo below: VIEWING/EDITING YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION To view/edit your account information select the “View/Edit your account information” tab. When you select this tab, you’ll see the web page pictured below. Here, you can edit the first and last name on the account, the email address, phone number and whether or not you have the device.

    To change your password for your Occly account select the “Change your password” or “Password” tab. This is the same password used to login to the Occly app. Enter your old password and then enter a new password as shown below. We suggest that you use a strong password. You can strengthen your password by using letters, numbers, capitalization, symbols etc.

    “(Your name), wants you to receive text messages in case if an emergency happens to him or her. Reply ‘Occly’ if you agree. Thank you” *Until the person you listed as your emergency contact has responded ‘Occly’ to this message, they WILL NOT be contacted in case of an emergency. This ensures that your Emergency Contact(s) have given permission for Occly to contact them in the case of an emergency.*...

    SAVE. Beneath the cancellation code, is a duress code that can be used if you are forced against your will to disable the Blinc. If this code is used, the Blinc and the app will appear to have been disabled, but the Blinc will continue to take pictures, record audio, and notify the monitoring center for you.
  • Page 14 The My Phone tab within the Customer Portal allows you to view the phone currently associated with your Occly account. To use your Occly account with a different phone, press the De-authorize button shown below. This is necessary when you change or receive a new phone.

    If you have difficulty pairing the Blinc or need to pair to another phone please use the following procedure: 1. If your Blinc is currently on, turn it off by holding the power button for approximately 6 seconds. All lights on the Blinc will flash when successfully powered off.
