The detergent dispenser will not open up during the wash cycle. I have made sure the joint is clean.

The detergent dispenser on the DEVANTI BDW-8-02G-SI may not open during the wash cycle if a large plate (over 19 cm in diameter) is placed in front of it, blocking its opening.
